CH Admirand and THE SAXON BRIDE

Aloha from RWA!   As the convention continues with workshops, panels, and book giveaways, I squeeze in a few coffees with my author friends, including the multi-talented CH Admirand.  From her bio:

My love for the written word is a gift from my parents, but the need to write was instilled by my 7th Grade English teacher. One of my writing quirks is that I love to include bits and pieces of my ancestors and ancestry in all of my books. Check out my fun facts and genealogy page to see which characters are named after family or friends.

A bride at Merewood .....

CH Admirand celebrates the print release of THE SAXON BRIDE:

Merewood Keep is just beginning to earn revenues and with Garrick as it's overlord. When the new Norman King decides to gift the newly rebuilt keep to one of his favored knights, his mother Eyreka is devastated until she hears the rumors that the Norman is widowed. Augustin de Chauret has no desire to marry, nor live in England. But his liege lord has gifted him with a keep and now a wife. Will the Saxon beauty win his heart as well as his name?

THE SAXON BRIDE is the second book in the Medieval Trilogy from The Dark Castle Lords.  I received a copy of THE SAXON BRIDE during the RT Booklovers' Convention so let's give it away today to one randomly selected commenter.

  1. I don't know if I have a favorite castle. Having said that I would not say no if Queen Elizabeth II decided to give me a personal tour of Balmoral Castle or Buckingham Palace. The art work alone would be worth the trip.

  2. Although I have not ever seen them in person, I do love Edinburgh Castle, Edinburgh Castle, Stirling Castle, and Glamis Castle. I would also like to see Winsor Castle in England and Ballynahinch Castle in Ireland and so many more.

  6. I was able to visit Europe once, a long time ago and we toured castles in England, Germany, and France. One that I remember is Heidelberg Castle in Germany - probably because we had a great tour guide.

  11. I was lucky enough to see Edinburgh Castle while there in 2001 and would love to see Winsor Castle if I ever get the opportunity. I did tour some other castles but I can't remember their names. That's what happens when you get old. lol

  12. I love all the old castles and love reading about the people that lived in them. I also enjoy learning about off the ancient monuments like Stonehedge and love to read what the scientists/geologists think of them and their purposes.
