Aloha to PS I LOVE YOU - Part 2 with Sherrill Bodine's ALL I WANT IS YOU

Continuing FOREVER's book tour, it is my privilege to introduce you to Sherrill Bodine.   I met Sherrill during the 2010 RWA National Convention in Orlando - she treated Mary and me to champagne and appetizers!  Let's pop a bottle of champagne to celebrate Sherrill's new book, ALL I WANT IS YOU:

Vintage boutique owner Venus Smith is stunned to realize her newest acquisition comes with a larcenous legend. Stolen years ago, the antique mermaid brooch belongs to the Clayworth family. The right thing to do would be to return it, but that means facing Connor Clayworth O'Flynn, the sexy department store heir Venus has had an unrequited crush on since childhood-and the man who helped ruin her father.

...one kiss at a time.

Connor knows that Venus has never forgiven him for what happened between their families. But business isn't personal, even though Venus's father's betrayal still cuts him like a knife. So when Venus proposes a deal-she'll return his family's brooch if he helps clear her father's name-he reluctantly agrees. As action-packed days turn into flirtatious fall nights, it isn't long before old memories resurface . . . and new desires ignite. Can two young lovers leave the past behind? Or must they first admit that all they've ever really wanted . . . is each other?

ALL I WANT IN YOU reflects Sherrill's kind heart and family values - from her bio:
I’m sure growing up in my grandmother’s house, taking care of my developmentally disabled mother, forged who I am, but I don’t believe any one thing defines me. My philosophy of life is that we are all in this together—and we need to embrace one another with as much grace, humor and compassion as we can muster. I see life as big, bigger, biggest, and I want to take everyone along with me on the journey. I not only attend black-tie affairs and work on charity board projects, but I am also just as likely to be taking a grandchild to lunch and a movie. I’m happily married to John, with whom I eloped when I was an 18-year-old freshman in college. It was quite the scandal. We have four beautiful children and 11 grandchildren.

I am currently reading ALL I WANT IS YOU - I regret that I don't have the review ready for this blog.  It has been a perfect escape as I juggle the holidays and relatives.   I know you'll love this book, too!

  6. I found a couple of winter tops that I had put away in a funny place lol. What I would really like to find is a gold ring that I lost a couple of months ago. I've lost and found this ring twice before but this time I was outside so I may not be so lucky.

  16. Does it count to say I found a scorpion in my washer? ;o) I've found money in pockets and I've also found Christmas presents that I couldn't find at Christmas several months later!!

Looking forward to these two books - sound like really good reads.

  17. I love finding funny things that people use as book marks. Whenever I borrow library books, there is often something tucked down inside: scraps of paper & business cards for example.

  18. I just read Marybelle's comment and I totally agree! It's fun to find "bookmarks" in library books. I found one that was a ticket for perhaps a train or bus in Austria. That's been the most unique one I've found so far. I love to find money in my pant's pockets. Usually it is just a dollar bill or a 5 dollar bill, but it makes me happy nonetheless.
