Aloha to Lydia Dare and THE WOLF WHO LOVED ME

The RT Booklovers' Convention is in full swing ... and one author I want to meet is Lydia Dare.  Actually, make that two as Lydia Dare is the writing team of Tammy Falkner and Ava Stone.   They are celebrating the release of THE WOLF WHO LOVED ME:

Regency England Has Gone to the Wolves!

Lady Madeline Hayburn Has Money Problems...

Specifically, she has so much of it that she's dogged by fortune hunters, including her bewilderingly attractive, penniless neighbor, with his wild nature and uncouth manners...

Weston Hadley Has An Identity Crisis...

Specifically, he's just turned into a wolf while Madeline was watching. Now it's up to the regal lady to tame the wild beast...if she can...

Elf posted her review of THE WOLF WHO LOVED ME at this link.   I am giving away a signed copy of THE WOLF WHO LOVED ME to one randomly selected commenter.  To enter the giveaway,

1.  Leave a comment about "collaborating with a team" - what project could you accomplish with someone else?   I often team up with Mary Gramlich, the Reading Reviewer, for "dueling reviews".

2.  This giveaway is open to all readers.

3.  Comments are open through Monday, April 16, 10 pm in Hawaii.  I'll post the winner on Tuesday, April 17.

  1. Hmm, I just worked with a team to get a grant and we succeeded

  2. At one of the places I worked, I was on the house committee team to put on fundraisers for our holiday party. We worked together on lots of fundraising luncheons which was fun. And since most of the people who worked there were men, it was really easy because they would eat anything we made for the lunch. If there was food, they were there. :)

  3. Most of my jobs entailed committee work--not exactlt "teams" unless the chair was excellent.

  4. Hope you're having fun!

I have read great reviews about this book! Thanks for the giveaway!

I think that I work better in a team while walking my 3 dogs. My bf will help me depending on his mood but for the most part it does take the two of us :)

  5. I just completed work on a church retreat team. There were 30+ of us, working together for many weeks. Each had her own defined duties, in addition to the many times we had full team responsibilities. The retreat, presented two weeks ago, was a success. Teamwork is great.

I am looking forward to reading the new Lydia Dare book. Thanks.

  6. I got tired of hearing the word "teamwork" when I was a member of the rat race. Well, where I was employed at the time anywho - LOL! I believe a family is a team. Just being one takes working together to keep the peace quite often!

Hope you're having a grand time at RT Kim!

  8. From my various jobs, I would have to say that I do best in a team in which everyone gets along.

I really like the cover of THE WOLF WHO LOVED ME with Steve Kuchinsky! That man and his abs is popping up all over the place!

  9. I have worked with teams many times in both school and work settings. In college, we would often work together with a team to develop unit plans for teaching to students. The same in schools.
Families do tend to work well as a team generally. Unfortunately, I have often been on teams where some did not do anything, except maybe take the credit for other people's work.

Hope you are having a great time at RT!

  10. I love working as a team, because stuff gets accomplished sooner. When you have more than one person working on something it gets done quicker and sooner. I have did teams in school and at work. I have felt that they help get things accomplished, but sometimes to big of a group, people bicker. I like working by myself or in a smaller group.
This book sounds great and would love to win and read. Have not read any of Lydia's books before. Thanks for the giveaway.

  13. I once worked with a team to install a new software application and it included testing, writing procedures, and training. It was one of the best experiences I ever had working as a team

  14. I adore wolf stories.

I think I could get more writing done for my articles if I had someone to bounce ideas off of. As it is right now, I just search the internet for ideas which usually gives me a few good ones.

  17. we work as a team at work to see things get done & help keep each other from getting overwhelmed as new deadlines & life pop up to make things extra crazy. outside of work, generally haven't done the team thing for a project (at least not that comes to mind). think its great when talented & creative people are able to work well together for an extended period

  18. Hubby, our three sons, and I often work as a good team. Once we get the youngest two motivated. We are working right now in touching up our home: dry wall, new beds for the boys, new floors, etc. We got it done in a good time.

  19. As a special education teacher, I work on multiple teams to help meet the individual needs of each of the students on my caseload. The teams change constantly as well as the needs of the child. Keeps me on my toes. :)

  20. In the past few days I have collaborated with dozens of other volunteers to Spring clean a community center. We started at the ceiling and worked our way down. We put in over 400 man hours in just four days. It was messy but fun.
