Aloha to Elisabeth Naugthon and ENSLAVED

Enslaved approved final

On this day in 1960, USAF Lieutenant Russel Brown, flying an F-80, shot down two North Korean MiG-15s in the first jet age dogfight.   Warriors "overcoming the odds" is a popular theme in romance ... one that Elisabeth Naughton embraces in her new release, ENSLAVED:

GRYPHON—Honorable, loyal, dependable…tainted. He was the ultimate warrior before imprisonment in the Underworld changed him in ways he can’t ignore.

She calls to him. Come to me. You can’t resist. But Gryphon will not allow himself to be ruled by the insidious whispers in his head. And there’s only one way to stop them: kill Atalanta, the goddess who enslaved him. But with so much darkness inside, he can’t be sure what’s real anymore. Even the Eternal Guardians, those who protect their realm and the human world from threats born of the Underworld, want to exile him.

Finding Malea is like a miracle. Somehow he doesn’t feel the pull of the dark when she’s near. And he’s determined to keep her as near as possible, whether she wants him close or not. But she’s a temptation that will test every bit of control he has left. One that may ultimately have the power to send him back to the Underworld…or free him from his chains for good.

  1. I love that in the paranormal world, you can be anything you want to be. You can have fangs, fur, or wings and its normal. I guess I've always been unusual and I feel at home in the paranormal world. Thanks for the chance to win!

  2. I love paranormal books. I've been reading paranormals since I was 10 and I just can't get enough.

  3. I love the possibilities...telepathy, flight, a singlemindedly devoted mate, invisibilty...the list goes on. I fell in love with it when it was just under the 'fantasy' label and I still do!

  4. I think I like the kick-ass heroines. :) Heroines with super powers... Who doesn't love them?

  5. This series is one of my favorites! It is actually one of the ones that made me fall in love with Paranormals. Elisabeth's writing sucks me in and doesn't release me until the end!
With paranormals, for me, it is the worlds the authors build, the characters powers, their strengths, their personalities and so much more.
Please do not enter me for this contest, as I already pre-ordered it. :)

  6. Her are no rules in a paranormal world except those the author makes and then can break. Makes for exciting reading.

  7. I love the variety and the fact that there is nothing that is not possible in a paranormal world. Authors can create a world with whichever characters they want, decide what rules to follow or disregard, what reason or explanation for the supernatural creatures.

  8. Oh how I love this series! And have been waiting for Gryphon's story, the absolute picture of tortured hero. If anyone deserves and NEEDS to overcome the odds it is Gryphon.
It has been a fun series to follow, with each book I am sucked into the mass of characters more and more. I love paranormal because of the wide range of imagination, you can have mythology and legends bought to life and thrown into the fires of emotion. Love it.

  9. Oh, the creativity of it all. You never know what's coming and anything is possible. I love the variety of it all!

  10. I enjoy the larger-than-life conflicts (and characters) and the world building.

  11. With Paranormal reads you can expect the unexpected. The rules are bent & often broken. I love that.

  12. I enjoy the possibilities a paranormal world offers. You're only bound to the limits of your imagination!

  14. love PNR because every creature and the story is out of our imagination and we will not it in real world, its like playing your brain with the imagination :)

  16. First the author, then excerpt, the title then the cover.

  17. I love paranormal books. It's the variety, the world building, the different characters(shifters or others), the different supernatural abilities. Anything can happen and usually does.

  18. I don't make a habit of reading paranormal books, however, I do have a few favorite authors within this group. I love the freedom they have to "world build" and develop characters that we would all love to befriend. Their heros are "superior beings" and always fantastic and creative lovers. So..."Whats NOT to like"? Great question!! ;o)

  19. I don't like all PNR. I can do without many of the fae, ghost, and witchcraft romance. There's just something about those that doesn't appeal to me. (Hence I don't care for the Harry Potter series.) I have been a vampire and werewolf aficionado for many, many years. And that goes way back to the days of Lon Chaney and Bela Lugosi.

I fell in love with Greek Mythology during junior high and that is what really started me reading. So when I got wind of this series, I could wait to start reading it.

Ms. Naughton has put her unique touch to this world and given it a vivid and captivating spin. I can't wait to read Gryphon's story.

  20. what draws me to them? Hot covers! Lol! I'm kidding. Mmm well I always been fan of strong/kick butt character, male or female. Also how the author create this kind of worlds out of nothing is amazing.

  21. I really like the world-building in paranormals. I don't know what to expect and the surprises are intriguing.

  22. Ilike paranormals because they can be different but the same! Great escape from the normal!!

  23. What I love about paranormal books is the world-building! I really like how different and creative authors can get with the paranormal elements in their stories.

  24. I've only just recently discovered PNR, it seemed a natural progression from Fantasy Romance which is one of the genres I read. Similar to fantasy, I like the world building, the magical aspects & the fact that the story is bound by only the author's imagination.

  25. I don't like all paranormal stories - some of it seems too far out for me.

  26. I love this series. Cant wait to read it.

I love paranormal because its just fun to read and allows a great break from the stress of RL for at least a chapter or two at a time.

  27. I love pnr books. Especially if they're part of a series because you get to know lots of different characters and look forward to their stories. I love the different powers and abilities characters can have and escaping into a different world. There's also some suspense in most of them which I like. Ahhh too many reasons.
I love this series. I'm now on Orpheus and Skyla's book. Can't wait to read this one too. Thanks for the giveaway :)
