What are you doing in February?
Dianne Venetta is gearing up for her Ladd Springs cozy
romantic suspense series set in the eastern mountains of Tennessee .
There will be a total of five books in the series, all set for release
this year. The first will be in April
during her Authors in Bloom Blog Hop, April 10-19th.
When she’s not writing, she’s gardening. Gardening
in February?
You bet! In Florida , anyway. But whether you garden in warm climates or
cool, consider starting your favorites, indoors—today! She’s already begun the process with her
tomatoes and peppers. Why wait, when
spring is almost here?
And to celebrate spring, she’s giving away a wonderful Bumble Bee
Garden habitat gift box. Not only beautiful on the outside, but inside
you’ll find seeds to plant the Dahlia Flowered Pink Zinnia (featured on top),
Queen Anne’s Thimble and Black Eyed Susan.
Gorgeous and the bees love them!
Also, be sure to check out her current women’s fiction
release, Condemn Me Not – currently FREE
on Amazon at this link. But hurry—promotion ends Feb.
9th!! It’s the story of the
stay-at-home mother vs. the career mother, their choices on motherhood and the
consequences of said choice with regard to their children.
“Bound by friendship, two women
find themselves at common crossroads. Neither planned to look back on the
road they traveled with regret—yet that's exactly what’s at stake when their
daughters issue opposing proclamations with regard to college.
Choices have consequences. Can they bear them?”

I don't have a green thumb, but my dad does.
ReplyDeleteI do not have a green thumb and neither does my husband. I have too many allergies.
ReplyDeleteNo green thumb here!!!! I not a lover of flowers and plants
ReplyDeleteNo green thumb? No problem! Sit back and watch Mother Nature take the lead... :)
ReplyDeleteOf course, being English, I have a green thumb. Us English, love seeing beautiful flowers in our gardens.
ReplyDeleteNo Green Thumb AT ALL unfortunately... and I get very bad reaction to insect bites so I stay away from gardens...
ReplyDelete(Not a US resident so don't enter me in the giveaway...)
Annually, a friend and I go on a kill-the-plants excursion, on which we buy lovely plants from unsuspecting gardening stores with full knowledge that the plants will die at our hands.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite past times as a child was digging in the dirt lol. I don't really have a lot of room for gardening so I have lots of plants and vegetables in pots during the summer months.
ReplyDeleteI love gardening. I'm not physically able to do as much of it as I used to but I do still love to dig in the dirt. And since I'm in south Texas, it's a year-long pasttime.
ReplyDeleteNo, not much of a green thumb here. Though I am thinking of maybe trying to grow some type of vegetable in a pot/planter. I have not decided what yet.
ReplyDeletenot really
ReplyDeleteGardening is great fun and I always say, if my compost pile can do it, I can do it! (We all have our inspiration!)
ReplyDeleteI do not have a green thumb and have been told it is actually black. My husband, however, has two green thumbs and does well in the garden. We've had peaches from the trees he grew from pits.
ReplyDeleteI have a green thumb but living in a apartment we can't have a garden. I have a small porch and have planted tomatoes but all the people here help themseves then we get nothing so we don't grow them any more. I do have some plants outside. I do miss the big gardens I use to have!
ReplyDeletePenney
Sometimes I have a green thumb. For me, gardening is hit or miss but I do like planning it out and seeing plants thrive. A couple of years ago my husband started helping and has taken over a majority of the work in the garden. I am now more of a supervisor which I enjoy.
ReplyDeleteHusbands are GREAT in the garden. LOVE mine! (Especially during "expansion" time :))
ReplyDeleteGreen thumb? Well in third grade I sure did. I haven't really tried to garden since then. I did try to grow some basil and oregano...failed. But now that I have a large yard I am thinking of trying my hand at it this summer. I might need some help remembering to water the plants...but my husband is good for that. Wish me luck!
