Celebrate Little Victories - North Shore Sights
Mary at The Reading Reviewer (link) always reminds me to "celebrate the little victories".
My family celebrated little victories on July 4 with a visit to the North Shore.
After walking to Turtle Beach, we drove over to Shark's Cove ... to find the traffic stopped for a group of twenty somethings carrying an "floating island" to Waimea Bay. I chuckled at their antics.
We enjoyed lunch at the Hukilau Cafe. These veterans were cruising around the island on their bikes!
Do you have a little victory to share?
Mahalo,
Kim in Hawaii

I've completed some chores today that I had been putting off. So, a victory indeed.
ReplyDeleteNo victory so far unless you count returning items to the store as a victory. I so wanted to keep the item.
ReplyDeleteHmmm... I cleaned the kitchen... That's a victory for me!
ReplyDeleteI completed a difficult level on Farm Heroes Saga. LOL
ReplyDeleteLove the north shore photos. My little victory is that I've been out to the store and have everything I need to take with me to the BBQ we are going to today. :)
ReplyDeleteit's been 10 years since I've been to Hawaii - I'd love to get there again and smell that fresh air!
ReplyDeleteI'm going with Diane - I just finished level 201 on Candy Crush and it seemed like I was stuck there forever lol.
ReplyDeleteI got to hang out with my cousin and got some great deals during a shopping trip.
ReplyDeleteno, not really
ReplyDeleteI got both rat cages cleaned today. Yeah for me.
ReplyDeleteStretching it a bit - yesterday was my end of the week and I have the next two days off - that's a little victory! Now if I could only sleep past 6:30AM!!!
ReplyDeleteUm, my victory was actually more of my doctor's. I received a trigger point injection in my back on Friday (with a HUGE needle deep into a muscle that gives me lots of problems). It has helped with some of the musle spasms and pain, inflammation. I hope it lasts for a while.
