Happy Mother's Day!
I would love to see you and then have you take me on a tour of all the great sights to see. I envy you living in such a beautiful country. Hawaii, island of love. lol BTW, I watched "Blue Hawaii" with Elvis in it, thirteen times when I was a kid. I was so hooked and loved all the beautiful vivid colors. My Auntie Ada bought me a beautiful housecoat with these gorgeous various blue colors that I thought looked Hawaiian. :-)
ReplyDeleteI would love to see all of the unique plants and flowers that grow in Hawaii if I came to visit, as well as the lovely beaches.
ReplyDeleteI've never been to Hawaii. I'd love to see Kilauea Volcano and the summit of Mauna Kea. I'd also like to see Keahiakawelo and hike in the Na Pali Coast State Park.
ReplyDeleteTops on my list would be Pearl Harbor. I know my full list of sites to see would be a long one!
ReplyDeleteI would want to see Pearl Harbor and I would love to visit the different Islands and anything else that I missed the first time around.

ReplyDeleteMy visit would have to be in November. Of course, our first stop would be the USS Arizona Memorial. Keeping in the harbor area I would also like to see the Aloha Tower. Next on the tour would be ʻIolani Palace. A visit to the Waikiki Shell for the World Invitational Hula Festival would round out the major activities I would love to experience in a visit to the island of Oahu.
ReplyDeleteNow, if a summer visit was what you had in mind, I would love to come this year when RIMPAC is being held, to see our military forces at their finest.
Booklover, you know Oahu!

ReplyDeleteKimh
Hi Kim!
ReplyDeleteIf I visited you in Hawaii I don't want to see the ocean or the beaches, I don't want to see the "hot spots" around town. What I'd love to do is sit and your kitchen with our husbands in the other room comparing notes on their crazy book loving wives! I'd love to just sit with you at the kitchen table with your children running around interrupting us and to just sit back with a cup of coffee or later in the day a glass of wine and talk.
To me people and relationships are more important than places and instead I'd like to find out more about you and what drew you to your love of books and the great relationship you have with not only the authors but with your fellow readers as well.
Don't forget if you ever get to New England the light is always on to welcome you
Thanks for the picture Kim! It was such a fabulous trip thanks to you!!! The wind was CRAZY that day.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to all the winners enjoy the reads...
ReplyDeleteIf I come to Hawaii I mean WHEN I would want to see everything,
