Wednesday's Warriors - I Want You for the SOS America Military Tribute


We're getting ready for the 12th Annual SOS America Military Tribute at the RT Booklovers Convention:

Join Kathryn Falk, Lady of Barrow, in saluting our military heroes and their families.   7. thanks for such a fun post! I have 3 rubber ducks sitting on a soap dish in my main bathroom :) There's a long story behind them but I always put them in a place of honor in my bathroom. Thanks for sharing!

  12. I have a bunch of rubber ducks, they float in my pool, as well as: two sitting on top of my printer-Flower ducks, a Santa & Reindeer ducks, a duck with crowned Princess in my kitchen, and a Pilot duck on the table in my office.

  13. I have a little rubber duck that I got at Target. I got it to take to LA with us when we went to see the Giant Rubber Duck that was part of their Festival Of Sail event.

  14. The only ducks that I've seen are the "yellow" ones. I had no idea that they came in different variations.

  19. I have a couple plain rubber ducks. I save them for when my granddaughter comes over to spend the night or needs a bath before she heads home. (This past summer, she had a ball playing in the dump truck load of sand we had just had delivered. Great fun, but we had to hose her down and stick her in the tub before she could do anything else.)

    Just a thought, Kim. If you need more cards, contact the local Red Cross SAF (Service to Armed Forces) representative in the Dallas region. This is the type of event they could support. I am sure you will get a good response from romance readers, but the Red Cross may have some local groups that would like to participate. Of course, they may be busy collecting for their own Memorial Day projects, but it is worth a try if you need extras.
