  7. Thank you to the brave men and women in our military, and to their families. Living in a military town I always watch the coverage of the ships leaving and coming home. It always touches my heart.

  10. Kim -

As the spouse of a Vietnam Navy veteran my thanks go out to RT for their tribute to our men and women serving their country and their spouses and families that are doing the important job of raising their families while they are deployed.

I loved all the pictures and can't begin to imagine how many pictures you took while you were there. You must have had so much fun meeting the person behind the stories and finding out more about them.

I can't wait to find out more about Cathy's book Lyon's Bride and don't forget that gently used books are just as much a treat to a reader as one in a pristine state!

I love all the authors you mentioned today and who can resist the wonderful books they have all written and such a diverse group they are! You really covered the gambit of the type of stories they write from the humorous Kieran Kramer to the seasoned authors like Sabrina Jeffries to authors like Delilah Marvelle who write stories are definately out of the normal "box" but entertained from start to finish!

Thanks for not only letting us "meet" our favorite authors with you insight but for the fantastic giveaway!

PS: Hope you have a chance to finally relax a bit when you get home!

  11. When I took my one and only trip to Oahu I had to visit the USS Arizona memorial. I was surprised at how emotional I got once I took the boat over there. The stories we were told really got to me. Whenever I see a story on the news about our military men and women I try to keep them in my prayers.

  13. Great pics Kim. Our military men and women are awesome as well as their families for staying home and keeping the home fires burning. Behind every great military leader is his family and that also goes for all military members. The military is the backbone of our country but military families are the heart.

  15. You did a great job with the SOS program, Kim--as usual. It's always a highlight of RT for me. And I loved, loved, loved the ducks ;) I came home to a big box from Oriental Trading addressed to one of my sons. We still haven't found out what's inside--but I'm pretty sure there aren't any military (or first responder) ducks.

  17. I love pics from RT. It's so nice that you are dedicating this post to service men and women. They do so much for our country and I really appreciate it when people thank them for there service. It also warms my heart people also thanks the family too cause of the sacrifice the family makes for the service member.

    Thank you.

  18. Great pics Kim, I wish I could have been there. I was lucky enough to have RT in my town of Orlando a few years ago and I attended the book signing, and it was fantastic.
I so appreciate our armed forces. I have a great nephew serving now in Afghanistan and several other family members have served in Iraq. I'm so grateful for Facebook, because we are able to hear that he's doing well and is safe frequently and it's immediate, no waiting on a letter. :D

  21. I am so glad that people are finally recognizing US military and honoring them. I am a military brat whose dad served in Vietnam and was not respected when he came home. I am a grand-daughter, daughter, sister, and cousin of people who serve in the military. On a lighter note RT is on my Bucket list. Would love to meet Sabrina she always looks like she is having such fun

  23. My son is in the Navy. I have tremendous pride in him and our military. They willingly go into danger in order to protect our freedom here at home. I repost every thing I receive from U.S. Navy, a post from the U.S. Navy site I subscribe to. I often post information about the things our military does for us. The men and women of our armed forces are heroes in my eyes. I pray all the time for God to protect and bless them. They are the main reason that we are a free people.

  24. Thank you to all in the US military for everything they did for us in the past are doing now and will continue to do in the future.

  26. Hi Kim, It is a wonderful thing to see so much support for our military men and women. My uncle was injured in Vietnam and came home to nothing for his services. Thank goodness times have change and our soldiers are acknowledged for their sacrifices.
You have been able to snap some fantastic pictures, it makes me wish I was there.

  29. Today I drove past a mortuary and there were about 20 men (vets) standing outside, each with a flag. It was beautiful and moving. My older brother is in the army, and the sacrifices he and his family make are humbling. So thank you for posting this thank you! I know I appreciate each and every one that serves/stands behind those serving.

I am continually blown away by all these amazing authors being in one place!
