April's month long promotion is CLEAN OUT MY CONVENTION STASH. I will select one US reader, one Canadian reader, and one International reader from all my blogs posts in April at SOS ALOHA, THE READING REVIEWER, and ALOHA ON MY MIND. The US winner can select up to 10 books (to fill up a small flat rate box) from my current convention stash to make room for new books coming from RT 2012. The Canadian and International readers can select one book, too!
CLEAN OUT MY CONVENTION STASH is open through Monday, April 30, 10 pm in Hawaii. I'll post the winner on Tuesday, May 1.
Love the blue tartans. I would prefer to wear a mask.
ReplyDeleteWould prefer a mask but that's always tough with glasses!
ReplyDeletealoha Kim, as much as i love kilt, i would prefer mask;) aretha zhen
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of wearing a mask. I do love my men in kilts though.
ReplyDeleteWow, those were some wonderful tartan fairies! What a fun convention it was, and it was lovely to see you, Kim. You were fabulous at the "Under the Kilt" panel!
ReplyDeletePut me down as a 'mask'... Those are some wonderful photos...
ReplyDeleteKilt and mask? Hehe that sounds so wicked cool! All those tartans.
ReplyDeleteA mask, if a ball is on the horizon.
ReplyDeleteI would go with the boa and maybe the kilt. Masks are hard with glasses as someone else pointed out.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures, Kim--and great to see you as always. In case anyone is considering a boa, I'd like to point out that those things shed. I think I was picking little green feathers--or feather-like things--off myself for the rest of the conference.
ReplyDeletei love all the pic.. i love kilt and mask :)
ReplyDeleteI would go with the mask as they're so many gorgeous designs out there. This way I can be mysterious and follow all the kilted hunks with my eyes.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting more amazing pics of your trip to RT. Brooks Johnson looks really good in a kilt. :-)
Well, I also look good in a boa!!! So I would say a mask and kilt!
ReplyDeleteOh, that looks like a fun time! I think I'd prefer to wear a mask.
ReplyDeleteLoved the pictures, Kim -- thanks so much for including me!! It was wonderful to see you last Thursday ;). And I'll echo Sally's comments about the green boas... I was covered in little green feathers for the rest of the day and random conference goers, who saw them in my hair, were kind enough to help me pick them out on more than one occasion, LOL. Next time, I'd go with a mask!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a fantastic time! I'm definitely going to have to save up my pennies and go one year :)
ReplyDeleteI'd go with a kilt. my mom is always trying to get me to wear a skirt, so why not? lol../
I love the green boas and that would be my choice. I had to wear a kilt as a child and the original ones are made of wool and very itchy (my dad was Scottish).

Hi Kim!
ReplyDeleteI love your pics! I would definitely chose a tartan gown like Renee Bernard's. It's lovely! So glad to see you had a good time at RT. I'm hoping to see you in July at RWA. :)
I could dress my husband in a kilt :) Anyone know how the women wore those plaids. I've read numerous types how they were being put on - more often how they were taken off, but I never could really visualize the process.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like everyone was having so much fun!! I think a full mask would be fun.
ReplyDeleteI've never been to any type of reader/writer convention, but this looks like you all have a blast while you are there. I'm going to have to start a convention savings fund. I would wear a mask and save the kilt for all the men.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics!
ReplyDeleteI think I would go with the mask.
Ooh, love the kilts and the masks!
ReplyDeleteLovely pics! Love the kilts! I think I would love to wear a mask! Thanks for sharing!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the costumes. I love seeing men in Kilts but for me it would be a mask so I could be mysterious.
ReplyDeleteI think the kilt would be the most comfortable, although I'd rather see a hunk in a kilt than wear one. Those boas look like they'd be a hassle, but a mask wouldn't be bad if it was not too big and cute. So I think I'd go with a fabulous mask.
ReplyDeleteLove love lovin your pics! What an awesome time! And that is great that so many just had fun and dressed up. I especially love the back shot of the blue kilted man!!
ReplyDeleteSo what did you dress up as? Boa, kilt or mask?
I would go with a mask, you can act however you want in a mask right? Nobody knows you then, rob carriages, break into homes and look for incriminating pieces of paper, check out whats under the blue kilt....hehehe
Kim -
ReplyDeleteIt looks like everyone had a great time at the Scotish fling! What I'd like is for my husband to be wearing a kilt! We took a trip to Scotland years ago and I almost got him to buy one but he decided his money was better spent buying several bottles of single malt Scotch!
I'm sitting her with envy on my face wishing I was one of those lucky readers in the pictures. It looks like as much fun as I had visiting the land of my ancestors!
Probably the boa.
ReplyDeleteI'm a Mardi Gras gal--sign me up for a mask!
ReplyDeleteWow hot men in kilts whoo, Ty so much fun wis I was there,
ReplyDeleteI would wear kilt
Kimh
Wow Kim incredible pics !! For me it would have to be a mask !
ReplyDeleteI would prefer the boa. I also wear glasses.
ReplyDeleteI took a trip to Venice two years ago and returned with a collection of gorgeous masks. I would probably choose to wear one of them instead of a kilt. I have been known to rock a feather boa on occasion.

I'm going with the Boa, just because that's the easiest. I'm with everyone and the difficulty of masks with glasses. And I sooner see a gorgeous man with great legs in a kilt!!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures!! Lucky!! I love a man in a kilt! I even bought a few for my husband. I would go mask.

ReplyDeleteI am enjoying your pictures. I would go with the boa because they look like fun.
ReplyDeleteI am really enjoying your pic and would wear a mask and see if anyone knew who I was. lol
ReplyDeleteAwesome recap, Kim! Well done! I always enjoy you!!! Muah!
ReplyDeleteOOoooooooo so well done need you ask It would be Kilt for Me ....
ReplyDeletethough a Mask with X-ray vision would not go amiss...
have a good onee Ann/alba
Oh that's it for me. Kilted Men. I'm definitely going next year. lol I love Highlanders. I'd go with the Kilt or maybe a Highway woman. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great pics. Renee Bernard can trade places with me. He's one fine looking Highlander.

Hey Kim!
DeleteI've been having internet trouble for the last few days and just found all your pics here. What fun! BTW, that handsome Scottish hunk above is featured on my A DUKE FOR ALL SEASONS as well as ERINSONG. The camera loves him.
Can't wait to head for the islands next week! I'll be out of internet range for the duration, but I'll definitely be blogging about being in Hawaii after the fact. Ah, bliss! It's one of my favorite places on earth!
