Happy 68th Birthday, United States Air Force!

Breaking news!  Check out my guest post on USA Today's HEA blog to celebrate this special birthday at this link.

Off we go into the wild blue yonder,
Climbing high into the sun
Here they come zooming to meet our thunder
At 'em boys, Give 'er the gun!
Down we dive, spouting our flame from under
Off with one helluva roar!
We live in fame or go down in flame. Hey! Nothing can stop the U.S. Air Force!

Today the US Air Force celebrates its 68th Air Force!  It is my distinct pleasure to feature the airmen, er, women from the RomVets, "military women who have turned the sword to the pen."

  16. Happy Birthday USAF! My father-in-law served as an enlisted man in the Air Force - he retired when his kids were close to graduating from high school rather than take another posting across the country and disrupt the kids HS experience. :-)

I've read several of these authors and have a few more on either my wish list or TBR.
