March 1 is St. David's Day - Dydd Gŵyl Dewi - the Patron Saint of Wales. He was a home grown priest who lived a simply life in the 6th century. Yet he brought hope to the people of Wales from the Middle Ages to Modern Times. Hubby and I visited Wales in 2008 ... and I share those photos of our visitis to historical sites cared by CADW - the guardian of Welsh heritage (link).
