Spring Fling with Kensington - Kimberly Kincaid's TURN UP THE HEAT

Spring lets us all start anew.   Kimberly Kincaid recently kicked off a new series, Pine Mountain, with TURN UP THE HEAT, where the heroine starts anew ....

"It's not you."

There are only so many times a girl can hear those words before she believes that it is, in fact, very much her. Unexpectedly jilted by her locally famous boyfriend and haunted by a boss who makes Attila the Hun look like a lap dog, Bellamy Blake does what any self-respecting girl in her shoes would do. She rounds up her two best girlfriends and makes plans to get the hell out of Dodge.

But Bellamy's escape plan takes a nose dive on the side of rural route 164 when her transmission self-destructs, leaving her in the middle of a cell phone dead zone with nothing but her wits. Oh, and Shane Griffin, the hottest mechanic who's ever checked under her hood.

Yet this small-town man isn't all he seems. Can Shane and Bellamy prove that sometimes the most unlikely ingredients make the most deliciously sexy mix?

    When I lived in England, my friends and I used to go up to London a couple of times a year. We always had such a fantastic time, shopping, and visiting all the museums, etc.

    I love a lazy beach vacation - no pressures, just relax & the big decision of the day is where to go for dinner.

    Once we all met at a B&B for a weekend without our spouses. We had fun talking and exploring the town we chose to meet in.

    What a fun giveaway! I get together with my besties as often as possible. They're writers, so we do "get away" at conferences, but I think we need a pleasure trip in there, too :)

    No major getaways with girlfriends. Usually we will go to someone's house for a get together or out to a favorite restaurant.

    My friends and I love to go out and eat but we try to pick a different place every time. And each girl gets a turn to pick where we go.

    Sometimes a friend or two will go take an all day bus trip and shop and eat!
    Went to Vegas with a friend one time and also to Atlantic City with 3 other friends.

    I am an older lady, so really only spend time with family. I enjoy to read and to go out to eat and enjoy home cooked meals with my daughter and her family.
