We have winners from last week's posts - Kim H. and Maureen win a book choice from my convention stash.
Speaking of conventions, the RT Booklovers' Convention is one month away in Hot Atlanta! From its website (link),
The RT Booklovers Convention is the book-industry event where you can mix business with pleasure. Attend more than 200 workshops as well as numerous parties and reader events that will keep you informed and in touch while having fun. It's where friends new and old come together to learn about the industry we love and to have fun with authors and fellow book lovers. Fifty percent of conventioneers are first-time RT Convention attendees, and many travel by themselves. However, almost all leave having made new friendships they'll cherish for years to come.
I am participating in four events:

Congrats to the winners. Wish I could take a vacation now, but I'll just have to amuse myself with some spring shopping for some flowers to plant.ReplyDelete

No fun for me - I'm having surgery on my elbow and ulnar nerve next week, which will be followed by rotator cuff surgery in June to repair an 8 x 9 mm tear. 😩ReplyDelete
Celebrating Easter with family, our 48th wedding anniversary and meeting up with a college pal and his wife of my husband.ReplyDelete
The only plans we have are to empty this house to get it ready to sell!! Those are huge plans because this house is cluttered. ICK!ReplyDelete
My daughter is having a "is it a boy or a girl" party. My first grandchild is due in August!!!ReplyDelete
I'll be searching for a dress to wear to my niece's wedding in May - want something comfortable, but pretty.ReplyDelete
We celebrated my husband's birthday. The rest of the month is Easter, middle son's prom, oldest's college LAX game, and not sure what shenanigans the youngest may have.ReplyDelete
Middle son finally committed to Alabama for the fall.
We are going to Florida for Easter and I get to see my two sisters and their family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ReplyDelete
Four events, whew! I hope you enjoy it all...and have some time to put your feet up.ReplyDelete
In the end of April I get to tag along with my husband on his work trip. He will sit in meetings all day and I will get to read! A true vacation.
Great authors and book
Not much ding in April, just read and work
Have a great time at the R.T. Nothing much doing in April. Thanks for the chance to win a pack of surprise books. Always a treat.ReplyDelete
Just celebrated my daughter's bday and now Easter coming up. Outside of that nothing much for April.ReplyDelete
April is a busy month. We spent the first week in Florida visiting family and friends. I had a second surgery for a detached retina on the 11th. The month is full of veteran and Red Cross related events. The Honor Flight group we volunteer with will be taking our next group up to Washington, DC the end of the month. The last two weeks of the month are way too busy. Would really like to be attending RT, but am glad now I didn't plan on it. My eye would likely prevent me from going, unless my husband takes me.ReplyDelete
