Using all her feminine wiles, along with advice gleaned from a training guide for hunting hounds, Elsinore is determined to mold her baron into the husband she wants.

Quin Graham is a man with many secrets. If another scandal can be avoided with a sham marriage, so be it. Only his fiancée isn't at all what he's expecting, and the clumsy, curious, and clever Elsinore refuses to be set aside. For reasons he's unwilling to explain, the last thing Quin needs is to fall for his wife.

She has odd, eclectic tastes in just about everything and often lets her imagination run away with her. She loves her romances a little playful, a lot sexy, and always with a happily ever after.

Aloha to Hayson Manning and TEN DAYS WITH THE HIGHLANDER

Scotland is glorious in the summer ... so let's escape to Alba with Hayson Manning's TEN DAYS WITH THE HIGHLANDER ...

Go-getter Georgia Paxton has ten days to acquire a quaint hotel in the Scottish Highlands for her travel accommodation company before she’s off on her next grand adventure. Too bad the sexy, broody Scot who owns the place is dead against the idea…and that she’s in very real danger of losing their little bet to see who can convince whom first.

There’s no way Callum MacGregor is going to let the gorgeous American turn his tiny hometown over to bored tourists looking to satisfy their Outlander fantasies. He only has ten days to convince her to slow down and see the magic of the town and its people. If he succeeds, he won’t have to run her out of the county. But if he fails, Georgia might run off with his heart.

I love Princess Bride, Young and the Restless, Days of our Lives – the drama is deliciously addictive. Big Bang Theory but will take Wolowitz over Cooper. Star Trek not Star Wars. Undercover Boss, Secret Millionaire – any story that shows the little guy making it. I follow the Buffalo Bills like a religion. I am spellbound by showjumping and equestrian eventing. I love curling up and reading all books – no genre is off-topic. I like ironing, I hate peas, love donkeys, I play a killer game of Scrabble. I will often be heading towards the fridge for another Diet Coke. Hayson offers an excerpt from TEN DAYS WITH THE HIGHLANDER ...

“What are we doing?” she asked against his mouth.

He pulled back and stared into her stormy eyes. “I think it’s called kissing.”

“Oh. I’ve heard of it.” She paused. “I like it. A lot.” She regarded him. “You taste good. Like an ice cream cone I want to lick forever,” she murmured, then leaned forward and sucked his bottom lip between hers.

He shifted, his zipper denting tender flesh. “What flavor?” He nuzzled her neck and bumps flew across her skin.

“All flavors of the rainbow. Sweet, salty, and with a hint of you, and before you ask I don’t know what that taste is, but I’m calling it delicious.”

“That’s a lot of flavors.” He cupped her face and stared into her liquid eyes.

I wish you were mine, Georgia Paxton.

She snuggled deeper into him, their combined heat misting the windows and possibly the countryside.

He glanced out the window. The rain had eased to a steady drizzle, and the road appeared manageable. He glanced at his watch and pulled a hand through his hair. They’d been out way later than he’d planned, but Callum had enjoyed every minute of her company. “I think we can get going.”

“Are you sure? I’m not sure if I’ve got this kissing thing down. I need to practice.” She wiggled in his lap.

When you put it that way. He glanced at his watch again. Damn, he wanted to spend hours exploring her body with his hands, with his mouth, map it until he knew every quiver, every intake of breath, every moan. Right now, with her hands in his hair, her amazing sunshine scent was making him punch-drunk.

“If I don’t leave now, I don’t think we’ll be leaving for a while.” He cast a glance in the backseat at his goat. “I don’t want an audience.”

She blinked away the haze. “Absolutely not. Poor Delilah.” She did one last wiggle against him, then crawled over to the passenger seat.

“Can we practice kissing later, but without company?” She lowered her voice. “I was enjoying that.”

Aloha to Melanie Munton and CASUAL AFFAIR

Melanie Munton is celebrating the release of CASUAL AFFAIR, Book 1 in her new series, Slow Seduction ...

Bea Paxton is a free spirit. She loves her fledgling interior design business, having fun, and she loves men. But only temporarily. Rule #1 is no relationships, no love, no commitment. She likes being in charge. It’s the only way to protect herself from getting hurt again.

Zane Price is the perfect candidate for a steamy time—beautiful, built, and British. Plus, he’ll soon be moving back to England. Really perfect.

Well...except for the fact that he’s her biggest client. And he doesn’t play by her rules. Hell, no. He wants more. Much more. Which is definitely not on the agenda.

Unfortunately, his kisses are nothing short of toe-curlingly awesome. And he is distracting her—a lot—from doing her job.

She needs to stay away from him. Her livelihood depends on it.

But Zane always gets what he wants. And he wants Bea. But for right now? Or forever...?

Melanie grew up in a small town in rural Missouri. After marrying her husband, she decided she wanted to try coastal life. A few months later, they moved to North Carolina where she discovered her passion for writing, and they never looked back.

Melanie’s other passion is traveling and seeing the world. With anthropology degrees under their belts, she and her husband have made it their goal in life to see as many archaeological sites around the world as possible.
She has a horrible food addiction to pasta and candy (not together…ew). And she gets sad when her wine rack is empty.

At the end of the day, she is a true romantic at heart. She loves writing the cheesy and corny of romantic comedies, and the sassy and sexy of suspense. She aims to make her readers swoon, laugh out loud, maybe sweat a little, and above all, fall in love.

Melanie offers an excerpt from CASUAL AFFAIR ...

She waited for just the right moment, pushing to her feet when she saw her opening. She was zoned in on her target, gun lifting in his direction—and was suddenly flying through the air.

“Hey!”

Somebody had hold of her and they were going down. She braced herself for impact with the hard ground, but landed on a firm chest instead. A chest that smelled suspiciously like…Zane Price.

She was rolled off his body and found herself staring up at his face. He looked kind of angry. Huh. She wasn’t expecting that. She could feel his package grinding against her pelvis, so she certainly wasn’t mad about anything. A package that was quickly hardening, by the way.

“Did you just tackle me?” she asked in bewilderment.

She saw him swallow as his eyes flew over her face. “I believe I did, yes.”

Their position on the ground was far too sexual—not that she was doing anything about it. His upper body was hovering over hers so as not to crush her, but their lower bodies were in close contact.

Very close contact.

She cleared her throat. “Why?”

“Because you were about to become a casualty,” he whispered. “I saved your life.”

“My hero.” She’d meant it to sound sarcastic. But her voice came out a lot huskier than she’d intended.

He noticed.

His eyes darkened in response.

Everything below her belly clenched with need, a reaction that his own body mirrored. She felt him grow thick against her thigh, and though he didn’t say anything, she knew they were both aware of what was happening south of the border.

“And you’re still on top of me, why?”

“Because part of me is quite comfortable here,” he admitted. “And a different part of me is about to be in a world of pain once I move. I’m trying to decide which part I should listen to.”

“Do I get a say in this?”

He gave a small thrust of his hips against her, making her gasp. One quick grind that allowed her to feel the full extent of his manhood in all of its stiff glory.

She was a goner.

His eyelids lowered to half-mast as he took in her reaction. “Do you want a say in this?”

Anita’s rapid paced storytelling style pulls readers into a parallel universe where mystery, mayhem, murder are the order of the day. Her stories are an addictive diversion, trading the heavy, gray world of real life for a fantastically colorful world where bad is good, and cool is smoking hot.

Raised on America’s Rock Coast in Cleveland, Ohio, Anita was born while the river burned. Music, food and family shaped Anita’s life and provide much of the fodder for her stories. Her love of mysteries and puzzle solving came from her Grandpa John, who introduced Anita to her first detective hero – Nero Wolfe. Food was as central a character in Anita’s life as it was in Nero’s, where Sunday dinner at Nonna’s table was a command performance.

Anita has been writing scorching mysteries and suspense since 2006 with stories ranging on the heat index from a “nice spicy little pepper” to “pass a mop for my forehead, please.” Check out tastes of Anita’s stories and like her on Facebook. Anita offers an excerpt from LOST IN DECEPTION ...

Tom couldn’t see where Peach went, and he didn’t like it. What was she going to do with a frying pan against a killer? A door opened, then a solid thump and the landing of a heavy weight. Peach. He was afraid to call out. There was no helping her if he was caught, too. He hadn’t been in a fist fight since college.

“Tom?”

Relief flooded his system at the sound of her voice. “Tell me you’re okay.”

“I need help. The tape Poppy used this morning. It’s on the kitchen counter.”

He found the tape and went to the steps to where Peach stood over the unconscious body. They carried the guy to the basement and thoroughly taped his hands, legs, and mouth. In the windowless basement, he took out his phone and called Jeb.

“We caught one. He’s tied up in the basement. I don’t know if he was alone.”

“No. There’s a minivan on the street, engine running. I’m moving the Escalade into the driveway behind Peach’s house. Be ready to run at my signal.”

“He’s coming,” he said to Peach. “We need to be ready when he signals.”

“What’s the signal?”

He didn’t think to ask that. Engineers were not cut out for this kind of excitement. His head was so busy he couldn’t think at all. “I hope it’s obvious. We’ll get out of this.”

“Of course we will.” He noticed she wasn’t trembling with fear. She wasn’t frantically scrambling or babbling incoherently. Everything about Peach was cool and collected.

Aloha to Jody Holford and HATE TO LOVE HIM - with Excerpt and Giveaway

Jody Holford is celebrating the release of HATE TO LOVE HIM, Book 3 in her Kendrick Place novel, from Entangled Publishing ....

Brady Davis is as happy as he is charming. Usually. Unless he’s in the same room with the frustratingly gorgeous antidote to his cheer. Mia Kendrick is headstrong and determined. She’s done with men who stand in her way—even if he has arms like Thor and a smile that makes her dizzy. Whenever they’re together, sparks fly—both the bad and good kind.

When Mia returns home to take over management of Kendrick Place, Brady is worried her focus on big business could be the end of his tight-knit home and the family he’s created there. Mia may have the power to change everything, but Brady could have the power to change her mind…if he can get inside her heart.

Jody Holford is a multi-published author who has a soft spot for happily ever after. So much so, she tattooed the words on her arm. She’s a mom and a wife, a friend, sister, daughter, teacher, and book-lover. Her stories have a little heat and a lot of heart. And maybe, some swoon-worthy moments that will make you smile.

Jody is offering an excerpt from HATE TO LOVE HIM ...

When he walked her to her door, they stood staring at each other. She was the only woman who could look at him and make it feel as if she were touching him.

“Are you waiting for permission?” she whispered.

His hand moved to her waist. Was he? Or was he scared once he started he wouldn’t be able to stop? “Do I need to?”

He felt, more than saw, the subtle shake of her head. His mouth touched hers, parting her lips. He inhaled and all he could taste was Mia and it consumed him. Holy Christ, kissing her the second time was a ten-star, whole-body, every-cell-tingling event. Heat spread from the unwinding knot in his stomach through every part of his body. Moving one hand to her hair, he tightened his grip on her waist. Turning so their bodies aligned, he took the kiss deeper, like somehow he could push their differences so far away, they wouldn’t matter. When they were touching each other like this, nothing else mattered. Her fingers curled into his shirt as he backed her against the door.

She pushed her arms up and around his neck, holding on like he was the only thing saving her from drowning. He was drowning in her. Waves of coiled lust, cresting so hard in his stomach, he knew he needed to pull back, rein himself in. How could there be this much passion between them when they’d only just decided to like each other? If just kissing her made him frantic, what would more be like? More would be ripping his rules to shreds and lighting them on fire. His heart beat like a wild animal. He pulled away slowly, then pressed his lips to the pulse point in her neck, satisfied with its quick pace. Her breaths came in short bursts, matching his.

She surprised him once again when her lips curled upward and she remarked, “That’s definitely more than a truce.”

Sonya offers an excerpt from THE MILLIONAIRE'S TEMPTATION ...

“You should have kissed me,” she said as they left the building.

Jake stopped in the middle of the sidewalk, forcing people to skirt around them. “What?”

“Now there’s all this pent up tension in both of us and sexual frustration can take years off your life. It’s a scientific fact. Humans give off pheromones and when there’s no release, it can lead to higher stress levels and ultimately a shorter life.”

He blinked. “You think we should kiss for medical reasons?”

Holly nodded. “I’m only trying to prolong your life.”

Jake laughed. “That is the worst pickup line I’ve ever heard.”

“Really?” She scrunched up her nose. “I thought it was pretty damn good.”

“Is any of it true?”

“Actually, yes.”

“In that case, let’s prolong together.” Jake took her hands and wrapped them around his waist. He’d never engaged in a public display of affection but then again, he’d never met a woman like Holly before, either. And it was just a kiss. He gazed into her eyes and was struck as always by her beauty and her impish grin. Lowering his head, he brushed his lips against hers first, then kissed her deeply, drinking her in. The heat they’d created between them that night in the hotel flared right back up. She tasted like the answer to all the nights afterward that he’d spent tossing and turning. She was captivity and freedom. Heaven and hell. Calmness and a storm. Drowning him under waves of desire.

When she nipped at his lower lip, Jake wanted nothing more than to rush back inside the building, find an office with a sturdy desk and satiate both of them until their legs wouldn’t hold them up. But the voice of reason intruded and he lifted his head.

“Not bad.”

“Not bad?” Jake arched his eyebrows. “I’ve been unfairly judged. I’m the best prolonger there is.”

Tawna offers an excerpt from THE HOOK UP ...

This was insanity.

A hot, shirtless man standing next to her? Hell, his abs alone were crazynuts. He looked like something out of an underwear ad.

And the fact that he’d stripped to help her out just added to the appeal.

“Okay, ladies,” Ellie said. “We’re going to start off with a few items from our Tame Me bondage line. This is a great vanilla starter kit for those testing it out or those who want to experiment just a little.”

“What’s that?” called a pretty redhead named Jane. She was the one who’d contacted Ellie in the first place about hosting the party. Most of these women were part of the same book club, though many had brought friends.

Ellie glanced down at the object Jane was pointing at. “This is bondage tape,” she explained. “It has a lot of different uses for couples looking to experiment with a little light BDSM play.”

“Like what?” someone else called.

Ellie cleared her throat and ordered herself not to get embarrassed. She’d had plenty of conversations like this and was no stranger to frank discussions about sexual aids.

But she’d never had a man in the audience before. A bare-chested, insanely attractive m—

“You can use it to restrain your partner by binding his or her wrists together,” Ellie said, avoiding Ty’s eyes. “Or you can bind him or her to a piece of furniture.”

“What about ankles?” someone called. “Would it work on ankles?”

“Absolutely,” Ellie said. “Ankle-to-wrist, ankle-to-ankle—whatever feels good.”

“Getting that tape stuck on arm hair wouldn’t make me feel good,” someone said, prompting a round of giggles from the audience.

“Yeah, my husband would never go for that,” someone else added. “He has super hairy legs.”

“That’s the beauty of bondage tape,” Ellie said. “It’s non-adhesive. It’s more of an electrostatic cling tape. You can even use it to cover someone’s eyes like a blindfold.”

The women looked dubious, so Ellie tore off a piece to demonstrate. “Here, I’ll show you how it works.” She struggled to bind her wrists together but quickly realized that wasn’t going to work.

“Want help?” Ty’s voice was deep and rich, like liquid chocolate. He stepped closer, so close her arms tingled from the heat of his body. He held out his hands, palms pressed together, wrists angled toward her. His eyes met hers and Ellie shivered.

“By all means,” he murmured. “Use me.”

Oh, sweet baby Jesus.

Faith finally gave up trying to sleep at five in the morning. She’d tossed and turned all night, reliving the kiss and imagining what she could have done differently. The pull of attraction had been there through the whole meal, but she’d thought she’d done a good job of ignoring it. Then, wham. He laid one on her, and she melted into a puddle of lust.

She’d be lying to herself if she said she hadn’t imagined kissing him a hundred times over the last two weeks. He was sexy, had a wry sense of humor and smelled fantastic. Any woman with a heartbeat would want to kiss him, and she didn’t even put up a token protest. It would have been only that, a token, but at least she wouldn’t have fallen at his feet like ripe fruit. Where was her pride? God, he must have thought she was easy pickings. She wasn’t stupid. She knew he was a musician of some sort, and he had to be successful if he had a manager and a crap ton of money. He was probably used to women taking one look at him and dropping their panties.

And boy had she considered it. It wasn’t like she didn’t know him, really. Women had sex with guys they met at bars, and she’d known Sam for two weeks.

Two whole weeks. Yeah, sleeping with a guy you’ve known less than a month is so virtuous. I’m sure Momma would be proud. And really, what do you actually know about Sam besides he’s hot, knows how to do laundry, and can kiss the brains right out of your head? That’s not exactly something to build a relationship on.

Whoa, hold on. Who said anything about building a relationship? He was a renter who was going to leave in six weeks. A renter who was probably used to gorgeous women throwing themselves at him. They had nothing in common, and there was no future in even daydreaming about him. So he’d kissed her, big deal. That’s all it had been, a kiss.

But what a kiss.

Instead of crawling into bed with him, she broke out the vacuum cleaner and got to work. The store wouldn’t open for a while yet, but that didn’t mean she had to sit and stew. There was nothing like scrubbing toilets to kill a libido.

By seven, the house was sparkling, and she’d had to take a shower and change her clothes. Lists in hand, she let Sadie inside the house and climbed into her truck. All was quiet in the direction of the blue cottage, and she refused to let her gaze linger on the path to it.

He’d be gone in six weeks, that wasn’t so long to resist this crazy sexual pull.

Sure.

Aloha to Kadie Scott and THE WRONG KIND OF COMPATIBLE - Giveaway and Excerpt

Kadie Scott is celebrating the release of her debut novel, THE WRONG KIND OF COMPATIBLE, Book 1 in the Love Undercover s

Data analyst Cassie Howard may be brilliant (and, okay, a little awkward), but she’s worked hard to get where she is. She definitely doesn’t need some sexy new analyst coming in and taking credit for her work. Or the inappropriate thoughts that keep popping out of her mouth she’d rather he not hear.

For undercover FBI agent Drew Kerrigan, computers have always made more sense than people, but he’d better develop some slick social skills in a hurry if he’s going to win over the too-tantalizing-for-his-sanity Cassie. Hacking their systems was easy. Now he’s just got to hack the one person in the company most likely to see through his ruse…

Kadie offers an excerpt form THE WRONG KIND OF COMPATIBLE ...

Drew was nowhere to be seen as Cassie crept into the office the next morning, doing her best impersonation of a midget ninja in a skirt. Then again, she was early and appeared to be the first one in. She just couldn’t stroll casually in with him watching her as though nothing had happened. Despite repeatedly telling herself she was a grown-ass woman, the fluttering in her stomach seemed to be breeding.

She’d dressed up a bit, for her at least. Some deep-seated need to feel sexy in his eyes had her digging in the back of closet for some of the clothes her mother insisted on giving her as gifts. Thinking of how he’d knocked her glasses sideways yesterday in the cab, she’d worn her contacts. She’d opted for a green dress in a soft, clingy fabric with a sexy V neckline, nipped in waist, and skirt that swished against her bare legs. Vulnerable didn’t begin to describe how she felt in this get up. Better be worth it.

Cassie turned into her cubicle and paused. There on her desk sat a potted plant with gorgeous tiny white flowers and a heavenly smell that reminded her of something.

“It’s jasmine,” a deeply masculine voice feathered over her.

Cassie spun around with a gasp to find Drew standing behind her, his ninja impersonation light years better than hers. At the expression in his eyes—naked desire combined with hot possession—as he trailed his gaze down her body, she lost every word she’d ever learned.

After a moment, his lips hitched up. “Do you like it?” Like what, now?

He waved behind her. “I got it because it smells like you.”

Oh, the plant. “Shampoo.” Cassie mentally smacked herself. He got her a thoughtful plant and all she could say was shampoo?

Drew reached out and ran his fingers over a strand of her hair, which was still down. “I know.” His voice dropped, getting all growly, and holy hell, all the build up from yesterday poured into her, bringing her body to delicious, throbbing life. Had someone sucked all the air out of the office?

“My mom has always grown flowers all over the back yard. Jasmine was everywhere. In the spring, the entire house would smell of it. I’ve always loved that scent.” Cassie’s lips twitched. “The way I smell reminds you of your mother?”

He gave her a dark look. “No. The way you smell makes me think of hot summer nights and your gorgeous hair.”

“Oh… I like it,” she said, her voice coming out equally husky. At least she’d managed more than two syllables. Amazing, given how her throat just closed up.

“I like this.” He trailed that same finger down the neckline of her dress, brushing the soft flesh of the top of her breast with a barely there caress that sizzled the few remaining coherent thoughts she had. His gaze followed his touch with the same single-minded focus he devoted to his work. Only now she was the focus.

The dress was worth every vulnerable second in it.

He swallowed. “I’d like to take it off you.”

Aloha to Harmony Williams and HOW TO RUIN YOUR REPUTATION IN 10 DAYS - Giveaway and Excerpt

Harmony Williams is celebrating the release of HOW TO RUIN YOUR REPUTATION IN 10 DAYS, Book 2 in her Ladies of Passion series from Entangled Publishing ...

In 1814 London, England, a lady is defined as a demure, delicate flower. Miss Francine Annesley is not that lady. If men were like plants, she would have a garden of admirers to choose from instead of the thorn in her side since childhood, Julian Beckwith. But she would make an even worse nun than she does a lady, which will be her fate if she can't dig up a husband before the Season ends. However, Julian is not an option.

With only ten short days left in the Season, Francine doesn't have time to waste on petty squabbles or knee-weakening kisses, even if Julian's offer to fulfill her every wish rouses her curiosity. It seems men are more complicated than plants. Too bad love bloomed at the most inconvenient of times...

Harmony offers an excerpt from HOW TO RUIN YOUR REPUTATION IN 10 DAYS ...

“Before you launch another harebrained scheme, ask me. At least while I’m in London.”

His proposal took me aback. I stared at him, mouth agape, as I tried to discern whether or not he meant the offer. I shifted my arms to cross them in front of my chest, but he stood too near. I couldn’t cross them without brushing his chest. The thought of touching him sent odd tingles over my skin.

“Why?” I asked finally. “So you can stop me?”

“Hardly.” He emitted an odd sound. I couldn’t decide if it was closer to a snort or a chuckle. He shook his head ruefully. “I doubt I can stop you once your mind is made up.”

I matched his smile. He had that right.

But…could I still trust him? This was Julian, the boy I’d known from birth. We’d embarked on more escapades than I could count, but never before as adults. Much had changed in the ten years since we’d lived adjacent to each other.

And my freedom was about to be cropped short.

On a whim, I said, “Kiss me.”

It was madness. He’d never do it.

He flinched. “Are you mad?”

“Hardly. If you want to fulfill my requests, then kiss me. Otherwise I’ll have to turn elsewhere.”

I didn’t mean it. I was the staid one of my friends, the voice of reason. Despite the way Mary flouted convention, I never stepped a toe out of line of my own volition. Maybe I should start.

He scraped a hand over his mouth. My pulse beat faster. To my astonishment, he considered the request. My head spun. How far would he take his offer?
