Washington Loves Readers Luncheon - Spotlight on Kerri Carpenter

Reminder: I have a special giveaway for Military Appreciation Month at this link.

The Washington Romance Writers (WRW) are hosting its annual Reader Luncheon (link) on Saturday, October 8, 2016. I look forward to meeting Kerri Carpenter, the author of sweet, sexy, and sparkly romance.  From her website (link),

I began writing in my grandmother’s kitchen at the age of seven in a small town outside of Pittsburgh, PA. A life-long fan of reading, I used to get lost in the worlds of The Baby-sitters Club and Sweet Valley High. I also assumed that everyone had characters and plots forming in their heads at all times.

As soon as my mom handed me my first Nora Roberts romance novel, I couldn’t get enough of books with happy endings, so I started writing my own. Now, I writes contemporary romances, usually set in small towns. I enjoy reading, cooking, watching movies, taking Zumba classes, rooting for Pittsburgh sports teams, and anything sparkly. I live in Northern Virginia with my adorable (and mischievous) poodle mix, Harry.

Kerri's most recent novella is KISSING MR. WRONG ...

After a lousy day, graphic designer Vanessa Hewitt decides to drown her sorrows in a sexily satisfying man she’ll never see again. Three months later, however, she learns that her hot hook-up is actually her best friend’s younger brother, John Campbell―and they have to plan an engagement party together. Now John and Vanessa have to hide the truth. The only trouble is that Mr. Wrong is starting to look a lot like Mr. Very Right…
