Enter Erin Knightley, a beloved historical author who demonstrates she write in any genre ...
Rodeo king Tanner Callen doesn't want to be tied down. When he sees Madeline Harper at a local honky-tonk and everything about her screams New York, he brings out every trick in his playbook to take her home. But soon he learns that he doesn't just want her for a night and, instead, hopes for forever. . . .
Go West, Young Woman!
Madeline Hunter relocates to Sunnybell, Texas, for a temporary assignment to climb the corporate ladder. She has no intentions of entangling with the locals. Yet the city girl falls for the sweet talking cowboy, learning to ride the emotions of her heart. Knightley uses the short format to her advantage to create likable characters who make a heartfelt connection with each other ... and the reader. I enjoyed the humorous dialogue and the Western setting.

Believe it or not, I went to a rodeo in the old Madison Square Gardens. We shouted and cheered as though we were in the old west. Good post.

Our first rodeo was the Pikes Peak Rodeo in Colorado Springs back in the early 1980's. Our kids loved the Little Britches Rodeo held there and participated in a couple of the events. We have been to several rodeos and PBR events since moving to Tennessee 20 years ago.
